Job description / Responsibilities

• Responsible for deck-department;
• Responsible for cargo-operations (loading, discharging);
• Responsible for carrying out shipboard administration;
• Reporting of hazardous situations, accidents or other non conformities to Master or the Designated Person;
• Responsible for deck-inventory and spares onboard(lashing equipment, deck & paint equipment);
• Promoting company policy;
• Responsible for environment on board and of surroundings of the vessel;
• Responsible for safety on board;
• Responsible for preventive maintenance of deck and cargo equipment.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of the Management System operated by the company;
• Leadership-capacities;
• Good ability to organise;
• Good knowledge of the English language (writing, reading and speaking);
• Good communicative and administrative skills.

Chief engineer (Dutch c.o.c. all ships)

Officer in charge of engine room watch

Job description / Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper functioning of main propulsion installation and power supply;
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and routine (daily, weekly, monthly, etc…)maintenance and inspections of main engine, auxiliary engines, deck installations and all other (technical) installations;
• Responsible of repairs on main engine and other installations;
• Responsible for stock management (technical equipment);
• Promoting company policy;
• Responsible for environment on board and of surroundings of the vessel.

Requirements

• Good ability to organise;
• Good knowledge of the English language (writing, reading and speaking);
